U&I Logistics - On April 19, 2024, at the Binh Duong Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center, Binh Duong Logistics Association (BLA) held its congress for the 2024 - 2029 tenure with the participation of 25 formally appointed business representatives from the logistics sector.
Leaders of the Binh Duong Department of Home Affairs, Binh Duong Department of Industry and Trade, Binh Duong Department of Transport, and other Association members attended the recent BLA congress.
For the upcoming term, the congress elected 12 members to Executive Committee for the 2024 - 2029 term, with Ms. Huynh Dinh Thai Linh serving as the President and Mr. Le Phan Minh Vu and Mr. Nguyen Quang Sang assuming vice-presidential roles. The elected members also include Mr. Tran Tri Dung, Ms. Dang Thi Kim Bang, Mr. Nguyen Chi Toan, Ms. Truong Thi Hong Tuan, Mr. Ho Tan Hung, Mr. Nguyen Ly Trung, Mr. Vu Dang Duong, Mr. Nguyen Duy Phuong and Mr. Nguyen Khieu Anh.
Ms. Huynh Dinh Thai Linh, new Chairwoman of Binh Duong Logistics Association for the 2024 - 2029 term said that Binh Duong province’s strategy aims to develop logistics into one of the province's key economies in the development strategy for the period 2024 - 2030, contributing to shifting the proportion of services in the economic base to 28% by 2025.
Binh Duong aims to become a central area for gathering goods and logistics activities to serve production products for industrial zones in the province. In addition, Binh Duong province wishes to promote the development of transportation infrastructure in sync with industrial infrastructure, making the province an important logistics relationship in the region.
During the congress, Mr. Vu Dang Duong, representative of U&I Logistics Corporation, was elected as Head of the Examination Committee in the Executive Committee term II. Endowed with the corporate philosophy of U&I Logistics, Mr. Vu Dang Duong is expected to continue to engage and work collaboratively with BLA members to foster trade connections, enhance service quality, and promote the ethical advancement of logistics services within Binh Duong Province, thereby delivering optimal benefits to the local business community.
Since its inception in 2018, Binh Duong Logistics Association has proved to be a pivotal conduit for dialogue and resolution of industry challenges among enterprises, departments, and sectors within the province.
