U&I Logistics - On March 7, 2022, ZIM (ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd.) officially launched a new service called ZIM Ecommerce Baltimore Express (ZXB), connecting China and Vietnam with the US East Coast and taking effect from this March.

ZIM Ecommerce Baltimore Express (ZXB) is a speedy service for e-commerce goods that connects China and Vietnam with the US East Coast when operating according to the following routes:
Yantian (China) - Cai Mep (Vietnam) - Baltimore (USA) - New York (USA) - Boston (USA) - Yantian (China)
ZXB services are operated exclusively by ZIM shipping line, and start with a fortnightly frequency and increase to weekly within a few months. The exact train schedule was updated on March 10, 2022 on ZIM's official website.
According to ZIM shipping line, ZXB service has many advantages, namely the fastest transit time to Baltimore; guaranteed space and equipment without rolling; late cutoff from Asia ports; dedicated out-of-gate lane to avoid queues in Baltimore and expedited rail/air/land connections to inland destinations. All wrapped with ZIM's unique "A2Z" customer-centric service.
Eli Glickman, President & CEO of ZIM noted: “The opening of this new service is an example of our efforts to develop dedicated and speedy premium lines. From there, forming a highly competitive alternative to air freight. Mr. Eli Glickman added: "This new line is one of the lines of "ZIM eCommerce eXpress", which we launched in 2020 with our first line from South China to Los Angeles and developed to becomes a network of multiple lines, with the addition of the new ZXB service.”
