With the growth rate of turnover much higher than output, it is easy to see that the average export price of this staple product has increased quite high compared to a year ago.

Specifically, since the beginning of the year, the average value has reached 2,291 USD/ton, an increase of nearly 21%, equivalent to an increase of nearly 400 USD/ton (or nearly 10 million VND/ton).

Regarding the market, Germany is the largest export market of Vietnamese coffee. The market update of the General Department of Customs recorded that by the end of September, exports to Europe's largest economy reached 170,336 tons, with a turnover of 363.11 million USD. The German market alone accounts for nearly 13% in volume and nearly 12% in coffee export turnover of the country.

The second largest export market is also in Europe with 110,631 tons, turnover of 236.48 million USD, accounting for more than 8.3% in volume and 7.7% in total coffee export turnover of the country.

Belgium is the third largest export market with 103,024 tons, turnover of 218.9 million USD, accounting for more than 7.7% in volume and 7.2% in total turnover.

Notably, the Belgian market had a very impressive growth of up to three figures (up nearly 138% in volume and nearly 191% in turnover over the same period last year).

Thus, the three largest export markets of Vietnamese coffee with volumes reaching 100,000 tons or more are in Europe.
